The Course
The Hope for Help 5K Run will take runners and walkers through the beautiful Crosspointe subdivision in Lorton, Virginia. The course is great for race enthusiasts, as well as families and friends coming out to enjoy the outdoors and experience the thrill of being a part of a great cause. There will be many safety marshals stationed along the course, a water station at the halfway point, and lots of prizes at the finish!

RFID Chip Timing System
We are proud to partner with Racewire to elevate the quality of this event. Secure online registration and a chronotrack timing system, coupled with a fast course, promises awesome and accurate "chip times" at this 5K.
Virtual
A virtual race is a race that can be run at any location. You sign up and we mail you the official T-shirt. Then you choose your own date, time and place to do your running or walking.
Teams
Sign up as a team with your friends, co-workers, or neighbors! The leader registers first, creates the team, then gives the group name to participants, so they can register under that team. A minimum of four (4) participants are needed in each group to receive the discounted rate.
Free SWAG
Pre-registered runners will receive a commemorative Hope for Help 5K T-shirt. Race day registrants will receive shirts while supplies last. Shirts are only guaranteed for registrants who have registered by October 11th.

Kid's Color Run
Who can participate?
Children ages 12 and under.
Registration
$20 per child. Register by October 11th to guarantee a free kids race t-shirt (while supplies last, after October 11th).
What is the color?
During the course of the Color Run, volunteers will blitz kids 12 and under as they pass through the yellow, orange, and pink Color Run zones. All products are 100% natural and safe. You can even eat the stuff (we've tried, but don't suggest it).
What if my child also wants to run the 5K?
Kids are welcome to participate in both the main 5K Run as well as the Kid's Color Run! There are two options when registering:
1.) Child DOES want to be timed: Register them for the main 5K Run. They can run the Kid's Color Run for free (no additional registration needed).
2.) Child does NOT want to be timed: Register them for the Kid's Color Run. They can run the main 5K Run for free (no additional registration needed).
The Color Run has 2 simple rules:
1.) Participants must wear the ultra cool race
t-shirt provided with registration.
2.) Participants must have so much fun that they cross the finish line looking like they fell into a Willy Wonka vat of colored goodness.
Race Packet Pick-Up
We recommend picking up your race bib and timing chip on Friday, October 18th to avoid lines on race day. Participants who have not registered online may do so in person at the pre-race Packet Pickup Stations or on Race Day (entry fee increases on race day). Please note that registrations made after October 11th are not guaranteed a race t-shirt.
